Finally shot a "cow horn" spike with the longbow, which is my first with the longbow. Bad was I didn't find him until 4 days later...really upset over the loss.

Got a doe today very windy crazy wind blowing all directions. Saw 4 does and took the first shot I had. 10 yard shot. 60 yard recovery. 67# Robertson Longbow - big shark up front. Beautiful cool weather finally - deer is hanging on the gambrel now in the back yard - I'll break it down into quarters later around midnight and pack into ice for 5 days.

Back in the woods tomorrow.

Pictures later
