Great job... Hard work pays off... I live in Virginia where the dog pressure is terrible. Deer dogs always running deer. The dog owners dont respect the bow hunters... I too hunt pressured deer. I belong to a hunting club and I am the only bowhunter in the group. My club members dont run dogs during bow season on the land that we have. But the surrounding clubs do... Pressured deer are a beast to hunt.....  I pray that one day the laws will change and put an end to deer hunting with dogs here in Virginia...Again congratulations!!!!

I have been away from computer all week so this is my first chance to post. I told everyone here a few years back that my favorite, personal deer kill of all time was a doe I took on a public ground hunt with John Scifres and several other Trad Ganger's. When I spoke with Randy the other day about his buck, I could hear in his voice the same amazement and excitement I felt back then.

I will tell you that Randy has put in the time, MILES and effort to finally close the deal on this one. The area we've been hunting the last several years is tough for a lot of reasons. He has earned this kill in every sense of the word.

Congratulations my friend!    :clapper:

Now learn to post pictures!!!   :p

Sounds like a great hunt where you was rewarded nicely for your efforts. You should be very proud!
