Asbell Pathfinder shrinkage question
« on: November 12, 2017, 06:40:00 PM »
To preamble my question, I usually take my Asbell pullovers and cold wash then hang dry the garments. This thickens them up a bit and shrinks them minimally - takes out any extra slack.
I have a couple of the Pathfinders and am thinking about doing a cold wash with these but am worried about the non shrinkage around the zippers. I'm thinking it will all distort because of course, zippers don't shrink. Unless they are pants of course. Any one shrink their Pathfinder up a bit and can fill me in on how it went?

I purchased one last year, got it one size larger, cold water hand wash then set it out flat and blocked it length wise only while drying to keep length, let it thicken as well tighten up in body some. Worked great and am very pleased. Then hung it outdoors for 2 weeks to air out.
