Ive seen a few posts around asking what length Toelke Whip will accommodate a longer draw and besides the 64" and 66", another option while keeping the limbs short is to go with a 62" Whip with a 60" whip riser. I coin it the 60/62 and that is what is marked on this bow. Maybe Dan has made this combo for a few of you but I haven't seen the mention in any threads so I figure Id mention it here.
This bow was made 53@30 for a 3 under draw. In the picture the bow is drawn to 30 5/8 and still has a bit of room. There is no stacking as far as my 31" arrow will draw back. So anyone looking for a short Whip for a long draw, ask about the 60/62 option. Dan said using the shorter riser from the 60" model allows this 62" to have the same amount of working limb as their 64" Whip. For a long draw pulling 3 under, this option was strongly recommended for a smooth and well behaved bow. You cant have this one, it's spoken for!
Besides the Micarta riser and Yew veneers, this has what Dan calls a LOW CLASSIC GRIP. I can easily wrap my hand around this grip, just like my Super Ds. It is noticeably more slim than their normal Classic grip and being able to wrap the hand around it, could make one feel more connected to the bow. That's how I feel about it anyway.
