My wife sewed velcro on my hat and if I want the brim out of the way just push it up and it stays.

I've found something sort of in that line at Tractor Supply company, in black or brown.

Rick what size hat do you wear? I have a new fedora that I only tried on. It fits me; but I just never worn it. It is yours if you want it. Provide me an address to mail it. It is an Eddie Bauer dark brown and size XL(7 1/2 - 7 5/8).
Let me know.

I've had this hat for years, it's a little pricey but I love it. It's an Australian Acubra, banjo Patterson. I steamed the brim to curl it out of the way of the bowstring and it doesn't interfere with shooting my bow.

When hunting and bowfishing, I wear a cheap WalMart fedora that I put Velcro on to hold the brim up when shooting. The rest of the time, I wear Sunbody cowboy hats. Great hats for the money.

Plenty of styles.  Noggintops has a great selection. A fedora brim is less problematic than a baseball hat in my opinion.
