Need advic from Nothern mist shooters

I am currently considering a northern mist superior takedown 64 inch 65# at 27. I currently shoot a 65# @ 28 58 inch Toelke whip takedown. I am wondering for those who own a Northern mist takedown a couple of questions. I am unfamiliar with Steves takedown system for those who own one is it solid or any problems with it. I know Steve is a master at his craft, but I have never handled or shot one of his bows. The Toelke takedown system is rock solid. The other question I have is would I be able to shoot the same arrows I am currently shooting. Thanks fo any help.

The system he is using is proven and been around for years. The Whip you have has a more aggressive style limb and should be cut to center. The Superior is a mild R/D and you'd have to talk to Steve on the shelf cut, I'm thinking standard it's probably cut slightly before center, so your current arrows might show a little stiff. Like in all these cases you're best off talking to Steve directly, that way he can tailor the bow to your needs.

X2 on giving Steve a call, he's the real expert on his bows. I recently picked up one of his Ramers from a member here, and was having issues with torqueing the bow and hitting my arm, I have a Ramer that he built for me that I didn't have that issue with. I took the bow with me to the show in Kalamazoo to see if he could do something with the grip for me as it is a little thicker than the one he made for me. After talking with him at the show, and a minor adjustment in how I grip that particular bow, no more arm slap. I have called with questions for him on other things too, and have heard him working on bows while talking with his Bluetooth. Good luck with your new bow if you choose to go with it, I don't think you'll be disappointed. (By the way I currently own four of his bows with a fifth on order

Too many bows to list, and so many more I want to try! Keep the wind in your face, and your broadheads sharp.
