Antelope Hunts
« on: January 26, 2007, 10:36:00 PM »
I need some recommendations for Proghorn antelope outfitters.  I plan on hunting with the longbow and would like to get some names of outfitters.  I'll be going to the Eastern Sports Show in Harrisburg in a week and a half to talk to some outfitters in person.  However, last year I was very disappointed that most were not enthused to take bowhunters.  One even bragged that he could easily get me to within 150 yards of a goat.  Try as I might I just can't get consistent at 150 :^)

I've been looking at full draw, spearhead and table mountain.  I got these names from old posts with positive things said about all.  I'm trying to find someone who comes recommended that will be at Harrisburg so I can talk to them in person.  I will get as much info there then contact those listed after the show.  Trying to find a good outfitter is as exciting and nerve wracking as trying to find a good whitetail buck.
