Just curious as to what style of shooting the Wensel brothers use.

Im pretty sure Gene shoots a 3 fingers under style and uses gap shooting where Barry shoots split finger style instinctively.

It seems like I've read where one or the other uses a "set arm draw".  I'm just curious is all.  It's just interesting to learn how the successful hunters/archers do things.

I think they both use the "set draw". I was told by a short archer who shall remain anonymous that their bellies are too big to use the "swing draw".   ;)

They have a DVD on their website called "Spirit of the Bow". It explains both of their styles and is really fun to watch. DB

Gene is profiled (among others) in-depth, in "Masters of the Bare
Bow".  Great video.

I love that DVD...they also explain why the swing draw just doesnt work in most hunting situations , and have the racks to prove it!!!  :wavey:
