I have been a bowhunter for about 25 yrs. Lost the training wheels in 1991 and never looked back!I have always carried rattlin antlers with me but never had alot of luck until last week. About 8am and i hadnt seen or heard a thing so i decided to give the horns atry. After about 1min of rattling i had bucks coming from everywhere. Two from my left and 1 from the right all came within 20yrds took a quick look and left.An hr later i bashed them together and from out of nowhere a very respectable 8pt was headed rite for me at a trot and very upset by the time i got the horns hung up my longbow off the hook and my bearings back on the buck he was quartering away at rougly 15yrs I was so shook up i believe i anchored at about my temple and i almost hit him in the antlers.actually laughed outloud for about 5min.Isnt bowhunting grand?BY the way im hunting in eastern ohio and other than that day havent seen alot of buck activity can anyone else verify that? Thanks
