2nd X On The 3D Range Helps
« on: June 10, 2007, 04:30:00 PM »
My son & I decided to give the 3D course a second chance today as we had gained so much frustrated enjoyment from our outing yesterday.  We've still a very long way to go but our scores did go up a good bit.  It is not that we are concerned about winning anything except the gratification of hitting our target where it needs to be hit.  I agree that not all the outlined kill zones are very accurate for many bow shots and we are working to keep the arrows in the center body mass without hitting the leg/shoulder bones.  Like to say we did that the majority of times but that is wishfull thinking.  Still hitting left too much of the time.  Funny, when I was warming up at home before going my shots tended to stay right of the target.  Buy I am in the process of adjusting my grip on the string to prevent the nerve pinch in my ring finger.  Much to learn in this sport of arrow flinging.
