Opinion of Shrew longbow vs. recurve
« on: November 12, 2007, 07:44:00 AM »
I have one of the older Shrew curves and shoot it well.Am considering obtaining a Shrew longbow. To those that have shot both, will they shoot similar? What differences if any between the two in terms of quietness, handshock, speed?

In my opinion they are both great bows.  The only thing that I have found is it takes a little more to get the recurve quiet.  Not much though.  I have cat whiskers on all my Shrews and the only thing more that is on my recurve is some yarn around where the string meets the limbs.  Other than that they both feel great and are both shooters.  You cant go wrong with either one!!
