Hey all,
When I was teaching martial arts we were taught to recognize a pattern of events that occur when you start messing up.
When you screw up something you tend to get more emotional about it then when you "Ace" a particular physical movement.
Example: The flush of emotions you have when you totaly miss the target and bust an arrow on the side of the house are more intense and lasting then when you put 3 arrows on an area the size of a quarter.
This emotional Flush is more likely to "Lock" in that particular "Bad Habit" This is one explanation as to why bad habits are so hard to kick once they set in. You are more emotionaly invested in them.
How do you fix this? Heh, Good Luck, Perhaps learn to take the bad shots with more grace and dont let them get you worked up. Cant say its worked for me, but understanding is the first step to fixing a problem.
