Black Mountain Mojo
« on: November 12, 2007, 10:42:00 AM »
Black Mountain Bows announces the Mojo Bow. Not a new line, but a way for you guys and gals out there who call on Mojo now and then to accessorize your bow. You can Mojo any Black Mountain Bow. Here is the concept. Do you have a set of antlers from your first kill, or a special hunt just lying around? Send a piece in with you bow order and I will personalize your bow by including it into the construction of your custom bow. Have a bow that is broken hanging on the wall collecting dust because you can't throw away the bow you havested your first deer with? Send me a chunk, and I will incorporate it into your new bow. Have some memorable stuff in the bottom of your medicine bag? I can work it into your bow's medicine. Find a flint arrowhead on a hunt? I can get it in there. Did you kill a huge buck and aren't willing to cut a hunk out of it to overlay your nock tips? Send me the deers hoofs, they make great overlays. You can proudly display your deer's antlers in the den, and still enjoy it's Mojo in your bow. If you want a custom bow, why not go truly one of a kind, why not go Mojo?

Good to hear Rusty. BTW, you got a little second hand Mojo in that bow just picking it up in person. You were standing in an ancient Crow hunting camp. Lots of flint knap and "interesting rock formations" on my place.

Well then, Brent, how about one of those Crow-knapped heads from your place?  A little Western mojo for an Easterner...

Hey, it was just a thought  ;) ...I'm packing today for a trip out to the Shenandoah Valley.  My bud there found a set of sheds this spring that go 170" or so, and I think I know where the big boy's hidey-hole is...at least where it was last year.  Maybe I'll have something for ya come this time next week   :bigsmyl:

I could see an Obsidian with turkey spurs inlayed for a Mojo blind bow. Hmmmmmmm

If someone already has a bow from you could they pay to have it Mojo'd after the fact?

Wow what a storm last night. No power, no phone, no internet, no Monday Night Football. So, you guys got the idea. Actually, the possiblities are endless David. Sure Terry, a piece of arrow, we could find a place for it on the bow, in the bow, around the bow.....it could happen. This is why I build bows. I get a kick out of trad archer's ideas. This hunting thing is very personal, so the Mojo Bow is the ultimate in a personal custom bow. It is a piece of you, a piece of the animal, a piece of your memories. Mojo!
