grip hand position?
« on: March 18, 2008, 08:03:00 PM »
i thought i had the grip thing figured out until
another shooter said i may have been torquing the bow slightly he said the bow was moving to the side a little.

should the hand be strait while gripping the bow or turned to the left with the throat in the web of the hand thanks Ralph

I turn mine to the left until most of the pressure is on the thumb pad with little or none of the hand below the life line touching the grip.

Right, I try to keep the heel of the hand below the life line off of the bow.  I have found that getting much, if any heel on the bow causes me to torque my bow.  But I'm sure others do it differently, maybe someone else will jump in here too.

Yes, you can, that's what I'm shooting now.  It felt funny to me at first too, but give it a little time and I believe you will get used to it.
