I don't know about his shooting DVD's but I have one of his hunting DVDs (The Best Of Overkill Outdoors) and it is by far one of my favorites!!!!!

It's very "tastefully" filmed, and the shots that Rick makes are AWESOME!!!!!
I only shoot WOOD arrows... My kid makes them, fast as I can break them!

PS: his hunting DVD's are so much more fun, buy those instead. just make sure you keep the volume down, because unless you are a metalhead, the music is going to drive you up the wall   :D

His vol II shooting video is a mix of hunting and shooting. I found it to be very good and loan it to any new comers I meet. The fella can shoot and is even better on live critters.RC

I agree with RC vol II, Rick describes how he sets up his bow and goes through the whole shot process.

I have both the hunting and shooting videos.I was snap shooting and his video helped me get control and improved my shooting greatly. He goes over setting up your bow, shooting form and mental preparation for the shot. The hunting videos are great entertainment and like RC said, the guy can shoot
were it worth the trouble? Huh? What trouble?

Rick says that he shoots instinctive. When I watched his video, I changed my shooting style to mimic his. Same anchor, thumb under jaw, and the off feather touching my nose. After watching his video and practicing what he preaches my shooting ability has improved a lot. I recomend his videos.

I was fortuneate enough to go to his school when I first decided to shoot a stickbow...  I can't compare what it'd be like to shoot not using his techniques, but it helped me alot!

Ricks videos are great, but what is even better is to take lessons from him.  The money I spent taking lessons from Rick is by far the best money I have ever spent on archery or hunting period.  It's very affordable and it's a good time.  Rick is one of the finest people I have ever met and its really fun to hang out with him.
