Good books/sites on shooting technique?
« on: April 14, 2008, 01:07:00 AM »
I'm new the traditional archery and trying to find good resources...

Do you know of any good books that describe general form, shooting techniques, and bow/arrow tuning and maintenance?

Or even better, are there some good websites with these details clearly laid out?

Thanks!

I think if you will spend some time here, you will find a wealth of information.

Have a look around, and use the search feature as well

Terry is giving you good advice.  In the short time I've been here reading his, Rod's, and some of the others advice has really helped me turn my shooting around.  There is a wealth of information already here if you use the search function and everyone will help if you have any questions.  Good luck and be glad to help you any way I can.

Also, get John Schultz's "Hitting 'Em Like Howard Hill" dvd, Byron fergusson's "Become The Arrow" dvd, and Fred Asbell's books.
