Terry you posted the picture below and the lights came on in my head.
Below are groups from the 2nd and 3rd try at focusing on having my left shoulder pointing at what I am trying to hit. My shoulders were pointed left of my target, and after 4 months as a new trad archer of struggling, I was thinking I would have to hunt next year with my compound.
Terry thank you. The shots below are the 2nd and 3rd time I focused on pointing my left shoulder at the target. The 1st time was just as good I just did not have my camera. The shots are from 18 to 35 yards. I move just about every shot, and 2 of the arrows have broadheads on them. The 2 arrow pictures are from 25 and 35 yards and these are broadheads.
Last year I havested 4 deer with my compound and did not have a shot over 20 yards. 25 yards is as far as I am comfortable right now with my recurve, and will not shoot over that yardage, but practicing at the longer yardages for me make the closer shots seem easier.
Once again Terry THANK YOU FOR THOSE LINES ON THE PICTURES!!!!!
25 YARDS
yesterday
I walked from 18 to 35 yards with each shot being from a different yardage. Amazing the difference. Thank you Terry.
35 yards 2 broadheads.
