Jazzing up my practice session
« on: August 24, 2008, 06:24:00 PM »
I wanted to do a little something different today so I tied a walnut to a string and hung it in front of my hay bale.  It blended in very well and I really had to concentrate just to see it at 20 yards.

Looks like fun.  Try it with a charcoal brickette in place of the walnut.  The charcoal will break when hit.

I like to do the same thing with a tennis ball or small stuffed animal. It's a great focus exercise.

Great ideas! We roll a tennis ball across the yard and shoot at it. We don't stick it that often but we do stop it often.
