Most trad bows use a flemish twist string as opposed to an endless loop like compounds. To adjust brace height you remove string from one end of bow and twist to either shorten (increasing twist per inch) or lengthen (decrease twist per inch) brace height.

Gap shooting is an aiming method where the point of the arrow is used as a reference point and the distance from the point of the arrow to the target is varied based upon distance. The term point on is a reference to the distance where the point of the arrow is held on the target to hit the target. All shots closer whould have the point of the arrow lower than the target and all further targets you would hold the point over the target. Distance dictates the distance of the gap.

No quick answer to that.  How sharp can you get your broadheads?  How well tuned is your setup. Florida deer or 300# northern bruisers?

Most states have a legal minimum.  Look up the law and go by it. Everybody's got a different opinion but I'd say 40# is enough...but check that law-book.

I really don't know what the 'minimum' would be to kill a deer, but I do know I wouldn't hunt with that minimum as if its IS the minimum to kill deer, its too close to boarderline to not kill it.

Most 45# bows will kill a deer, and you are above the minimum you are asking about.

I personally wouldn't want to hunt will less than 45#s...cept a few of todays bows I might go 40# if I had to.
