Does Mr. Welch's style work with straight end bows?
« on: April 03, 2009, 04:07:00 PM »
Hey guys it seems like most of the footage shows guys using recurves and I was wondering if anyone has success using his style with a straight end bow. I have played around a little with 3 under but it still feels very weird to me. It appears that his system is very deadly but can it be applied to any type bow or is it better suited for shorter recurves? Thanks

If you watch Ricks second video,he uses a straight limbed longbow,in a bunch of the shooting sessions.
Target archery is seeing how far away you can get and still hit the bull's eye. Bowhunting is seeing how close you can get and never miss your mark.

Solid bow arm with follow thru, consistant repeatable anchor, and never stop pulling will work with any bow.
