Set up a couple of tree stands on my range this past weekend in preparation for the upcoming season. One at 19 yds and another at about 12 yards.
My accuracy has gone to pot when shooting from these elevated positions. I mean having a hard time keeping the arrows on the target bad!
My form feels good and I am almost positive I am bending at the waist rather than with my bow arm but my 4" groups have gone out to a foot and a half!
To add to the dillema, the groups are stretching out laterally. both to the left and right of my point of aim. Pretty good vertically.
Even more puzzling. If I pick a spot on the ground between the stand and the target and shoot. I'm hitting the spot or realy close, like less than 2" close..... but when shooting at the target itself, it goes back to this strange lateral spread....
Any advice folks?
Thanks!
