Kodiak Mag Shooters Need Some Help
« on: July 21, 2009, 08:37:00 PM »
I just got a Kodiak Mag last week and ive im having trouble with it. When I shoot my arrows really fish tail hard to the left. Whats weird is my groups arent that bad but my arrow just flys weird. I thought it was my arrows but they shoot great off my other bows that are the same weight. Any ideas?

What arrows are you using and what is your draw length? My first inclination is to see how your arrow spine matches up to the bow. My second is to see how the nock fits your string, and the third thing that I would look into is how clean a release you are getting. This is a short bow, and you may have some interference from finger pinch going on.

As an exercise, try drawing without touching the arrow nock with your fingers...that's right, spread them apart and try not to touch the nock of your arrow. See if these ideas have some merit. Inquiring minds want to know!

Thanks Killdeer and great shooting. I figured out my arrows are over spined. I plan to order some 2016s and bare shaft tune them. The bow is 55# @28 and im pulling 28.5 my arrows are 30"
