arrow kicks to the left
« on: November 18, 2009, 03:41:00 PM »
i just got done making a 70 inch longbow with an arrow rest cut to center i noticed when shooting it my fletching kicks to the left a little and straightens out before hitting the target. I was wondering if this is normal or maybe my fletching doesn't slide over my arrow shelf well. i'm not sure what do you guys think. its 60 # at 26 inches my string alignment looks good so i don't know. Still learning

Your arrow is spined weak if your right handed and stiff if left handed. If your right handed trim the shafts a little shorter. If left handed use a heavier point.

It could be spine or it maybe a feather touching. And the nock needs turned.
