Brush buttons-good or bad?
« on: March 25, 2010, 08:16:00 AM »
Do brush buttons on recurves affect arrow flight or bow noise? I like the buttons for the job they do(keeping the brush out - mostly)but notice the top button seems to move as I shoot to jam tightly against the bow. A friend thinks they slap the bow and add to the racket. I think they should be placed to just about touch the bow, paper thin gap. To keep them in place I'm thinking about applying some serving top and bottom as stops. I think they should be able to perform a silencer function.
