Can't get rid of Nock High
« on: April 23, 2010, 08:13:00 PM »
I recently acquired a Predator Recurve. Great bow except for one thing, no matter what nock point I set it at, I am getting nock high when I shoot through paper. My arrow spine through paper is perfect but I can't eliminate nock high. I've tried brace heights from 7-1/4" -7-3/4" and that has not helped either. Any ideas?

THanks!

Maybe a softer bottom plate on your riser. It sounds like your arrow is "kicking" up off it. It's worth a try.
