A bridge program is intended to introduce "aiming" (instinctive, gap, whatever) after an individuals shot sequence has been established and developed on the blind bale. It is designed (by Len Cardinale) for the shooter to gain 100% trust in a shot sequence in conjunction with grooving muscle memory.
Find a large target. The objective is NOT to group the arows but to focus on the shot sequence. At 5 yds shoot 40 shots perfectly - no cheating - perfectly. Anything less than perfect means going to blank bale for the remainder of your practice time working on the bobbled step. Start over the next day at the distance you failed to be perfect at. Back up in 5 yd increments with perfect shots until you reach 20 yds.
This repetition will instill trust in your shot sequence. It will become a habit. The focus will be on hitting the spot you choose on an animal or target in your effective shooting range.
Rod teaches a 7 step shot sequence.1. Stance, 2.Bow Hand, 3.String Hand, 4.Anchors/Calibration, Commitment, 6. Aiming/Expansion, 7. Conclusion
WV, hope that helps.
