Shooting setting down?
« on: July 25, 2010, 01:39:00 AM »
I try shooting from all types positions IE: standing, kneeling, seated on stool. But today I tryed shooting setting on the the ground, And was suppriced I could shoot like that so good. I do have to cant the bow alot more to keep the bottom limb from hitting the ground. How many of you guys try shooting setting with your butt flat on the ground with long bows?

I do it with my 64" takedown long bow, and your right, suprised how good it works, in my mind it would not seem that it would, but also like you, I have to cant the bow quite a bit, when I kneel or stand I shoot pretty much vertical. DK.
