I'm just coming back to bowhunting. Last time I went bowhunting, there was no internet. I hunted with a recurve for a few years then and had success, and for some years before that with a compound.
With raising kids who play sports, I haven't hunted in a long time, but a friend of mine got me interested gain, so I tuned up my bow, fletched up some arrows and hit the back yard. At first I was awful, but did some form practice trying to remember what little form I used to have - got bow tuned, got a little better...
But I watched one of Terry's videos on here where he is canting at odd angles, and what I got from it was... get a deeper hook. Boy that made a world of difference. I am shooting pretty consistently where I am looking now just by making sure my fingertips are pointing back at me when I start to draw. Also, makes bow feel lighter.
Thanks, Terry!
