I have shot 175fps with 625grs for the last 10 years, as long as the grip is about the same it doesnt seem to matter witch bow I use as long as it shoots about 175fps.

I shoot a number of bows prior to the season starting, but about one month before I go with the bow I feel most comfortable and accurate shooting. Currently it's a Morrison Shawnee, 58" longbow, with an Eagle Flight quiver. The setup has nice balance for me, and simply feels good.

Once the season starts I'm with one bow 99% of the time.  I shot 4 leading up to the season to settle on the one.

I had a few bows that I would shoot and would usually change if I didn't feel my shooting was up to par with whatever one I was shooting at the time. After alot of switching around, I finally decided to pick the one I seemed to shoot best in a comfortable draw weight and shelf the rest.

Since I've done this, my accuracy has improved and I only have to buy one type of arrow. I think that practicing with one bow will make you more consistent over time as opposed to switching around, even if it's the same make/model. It seems to be the case for me.

I am interested in Ravenhood's post about shooting the same speed/arrow weight and having consistent results. I never thought of looking at it that way. Does anyone else have the same experience with this?

I chose a 58" Shrew Scout recurve, 50# @ 28" in case anyone was wondering.

There are alot of people that shoot mulitpal bows but I have been a one bow guy. I could never justify spending the money on for two bows. Always had my frist LB as a back up bow, even when I had wheels. It would only take 50 or so arrows to start shooting good. I did send money off for a new bow so I may be introuble now. I would like to find that perfect bow and have two bows alike if I had my way.

I can shoot all of them poorly.

Hopefully, I can shoot one of them well.

I have longbows, recurves and a couple of wheelies.  I like switching around and it doesn't take much adjusting, one to the other. I out for fun.
