Summer? What's Summer?
« on: November 18, 2007, 12:06:00 AM »
Seems so long ago that we were out in short sleeve t-shirts pounding carp, 3-D's, and backyard bales. I found today, sitting in the still dead hush of the autumn woods, that I could hardly remember those times. So, I figured I'd post some images from this past summer to try and reconjure those memories of lazy summertime days...
So post all of your summertime bow pics. We all enjoy those days spent in the deer woods, but as the mercury drops, I think we could all do to try and remember those warmer days...

And just to prove summer isn't just about targets, one of many similar quarry taken in the summertime heat...

Whadda ya mean, What Summer?  Hit 80 here last week.  We are finally glad to see some frosty mornings - first six weeks of the season were very hot.

It`s almost always summer in Texas till Thanksgiving. It was 84 today. Now that it`s below 90 our rut has kicked in.

Hee hee My honey and her girls from TX are up visiting this week and checking out job prospects. They all had parkas and gloves on last night. I had a long sleeve T-shirt on. LOL!

I remember summer now, the pic of that little guy jarred my memory
