?? 's about IBO Tradition Worlds
« on: September 10, 2010, 06:50:00 PM »
Was wondering what kind of yardages they have there.  And If I were to take my 14 year old daughter with me , would we be able to shoot together???

I have never shot much up and down hill, I would believe there is alot of that???

Any way it sounds like alot of fun. Would be nice to shoot with the daughter though.

Thanks for any feedback.

Rob B.

in the recurve class i shot from 15 to 35 yds but only larger targets at longer distances ,smaller targets were closer and not many longer ones , also the woman and children shot from about 12 to 22 yds it seemed anyway,i could be wrong but yes you can shoot with youre daughter and man was it awsome i would highly recommend it . chuck cranford.

Robert, You need to go and take her with you. Not as steep up and down as you might think. Shots are well within the ibo trad rules , which is 30 yds. I don't remember any over that except maybe one or two on the hunter challenge course. the ibo courses were very trad friendly. I'm pretty sure you could shoot with your girl the first day and I know the little folks shoot with their parents the second day too. Not sure about the older youths. That said, I'd not fear one minute about turning my kid loose with anyone i met at the shoot. Pappy and his crew got it going on. Don
