I'm trying to determine how I'm doing.

At what distance can you say with 100% certainty, that you can hit a 6 inch pie plate?

At the moment I'm probably around 15 yards, my brain freaks out still when I step back from there. This is how I determine my hunting distance.
I shoot into coffee cans and homemade foam deer/sheep/pigs and I look down the arrow to my target just before release and that helps me immensely if you have a solid anchor.

The looking down the arrow gives me a strong sense of confidence as I shoot.

Much Aloha...

Always great to read replies.

I do practice out two 40 yards, and aim at very small points on the target.

Accuracy statements always get thrown around, many people talk big,  and a 6 inch plate just seems to standardize it. At 15 yards I can quarantee a hit. At 20 it drops to about 70 %. I was just curious if I'm on par with realistic expectations.

Thanks for the replies. I have a boost in confidence now, knowing I'm on the right track

No pies lost in the making of this discussion.
