Due to I had to use my Cam on my dell laptop... The bow is 45@28, I hope to make some new shooting videos real soon..

Good stuff Cody. 1st set vids; your 3rd, 5th, & 6th shots are closer to my own swing style. You have some pdq shots there. Whatever works.

Just for clarification, I locate the spot I want to hit, then draw & release all in one motion. Mine may be just a bit longer hesitation before I release. Maybe not. I've never taped me. If you;re hitting the target & having fun doing it, you;re doing it right. Thanks

So I'm sitting here drinking my coffee and watching Cody shoot some arrows when my 3 year old daughter comes up and says..."Who's that Daddy"? I say "that's Cody". She watches video #2 with me and as she walks away after the video she turns back and says "I'm way better than Cody"!!

Good job Cody but Ruby isn't that impressed!!

I have a question, about shot tempo.  One of my biggest problems is how fast my "normal" shot should be.  I am ambidextrous, even my eyes, so I shoot both sides and as I get older and more worn out it is important that I switch to nurse some worn out release fingers at times.  When I was doing a lot of coin shooting I developed a shot sequence  very similar to your first video, I found that after time it was an infectious speed and difficult to maintain.  Now shooting left handed more, I have the ability to hold all day, if I want, on both sides. Do you think it is better to shoot a slower tempo or does the advantage of fast shooting pay off more often in long run of things?  On longer shots I seem to second guess myself when shooting to slow at times and on the other hand it seems that I can miss easier at times if I don't slow it all up to give myself a longer look.  I wish I had that old feel of what is 'my shot' back so I can stop thinking about it when I shoot.

Partner.., if you can shoot coins out of the air w/either hand, you're much more qualified to tell me. IMO, get a smooth consistency & let 'er go. Hitting the target consistently simply develops confidence which ultimately is the key.

The coin shooting got a bit addictive, to a point where I was backing up.  The best I ever did was five out of six quarters from 15 yards with a Bear Super Kodiak, shooting at quarters tossed from a longer distance across the stack of large plastic tie bales.  My neighbors are happier now that the end of my garage is not a pile of twelve bales, but my garage is not as happy about that.  the hardest part of coin shooting is getting a target big enough so one can have a longer shooting window following the coin and getting someone crazy enough to throw the coins for you. Shooting moving targets all the time can make serious changes to ones form and ones ability to thread in a tight tight group at longer ranges.
