Shooting Clinics on the West coast?
« on: April 22, 2011, 05:04:00 PM »
HI
I'm new to this highly addictive sport and want to learn form, good form early on. I have bought several books but i personally learn better and faster through hands on teaching by someone who knows. So i want to attend a shooting clinic and the closest one for me that i know of is Black Widow's school, which is still a ways from Southern Oregon. Does anybody know where i can make a weekend or 2-3 day shooting clinic and not take out a second mortgage from travel?
Thanks

You're in luck (if there's still room in the class)!

Rod Jenkins is teaching a clinic in Idaho on June 25-26th.  Rod is a great instructor as well as being a great traditional archer.  This will be my second time around.  I attended a clinic he did in Hood River, OR several years ago, and feel that it's time for a refresher.

Click on directory, at the top of the page, which is to the left of search.  Find "BigCnyn" (Brian Morris) in the directory.  When you find him, click on his display name, and his information will come up.  There is a button in there to send him a PM, and you can ask him about the class.  The class is being held somewhere near Pocatello (obviously I'll need to find out more details about where it's being held before I leave Sacramento!).

If that doesn't work, click on Rod Jenkins' ad at the top of the Shooter's Forum, and you can email him from his website.

If that doesn't work, let me know and I'll think of something else.
