Bow is listed as too big for me,but will it work?
« on: November 20, 2011, 01:44:00 PM »
Hi Guys,
Im not a total newbie, but dont know enough. Please help..I have an eye on a bow that is actually listed as a  pound or two more than what I normally like and the draw length as well is listed one inch longer than my normal 28".
Im assuming all will function fine using the bow.Only being drawing at my length and holding less poundage, correct? Or is there some termanology for this,am I not utilizing the full performance of the bow?
   Bow is 29" @ 52 pounds,I shoot 28-" and preferably 45-48 lbs.
Thanks for the help, hope I explained myself clearly.

The bow will draw about 49# at 28", so it should work out fine for you.

Try it out if you can, and then you'll know for sure. Most of my bows are listed too heavy for me and my short draw length helps that. I have a 26 1/2 " draw and don't seem to have any problems with the bows listed. I don't think it will be a problem for you.

Good luck.

Verifying that the grip is compatable would be my number one concern. The draw wt and bow function should do well.
