I'm about to go put up my blank bales since my deer season is over and just had a crazy idea. I usually hang two bag targets off a 4X4 sunk in the ground with a 2X4 across the top. Puts two targets at shoulder height. Would there be any benefit to hanging one target at regular shoulder height and hang the other one at ground level to simulate shooting from a tree stand? My thinking is if I can get the bending at the waist ingrained along with the rest of my shot I won't have to think about that as well when shooting from a stand? I know that there is no substitute for actual practice from a stand but I'm thinking that shooting blank bale like this might help?
Any thoughts?
