First Timer
« on: June 15, 2012, 02:38:00 PM »
Hello! This is my first post on the site. I must say I really like the seriousness of this forum, too much off topic chatter can ruin a forum. Anyhow, I have been shooting compound bows for a while now. I just bought a samick sage that shoots 45# at 28 however I draw closer to 30. I would really like the lowdown on traditional archery and how to shoot. I am able to consistently hit the bag I am aiming at however I seem to be continuously high and right. I have had no teaching at all so I would greatly appreciate some direction before I start bad habits. Feel free to link me to another discussion on here, videos, books, etc so you all don't have to repeat yourselves. Thanks in advance for your help!

Welcome to the    :campfire:  Bobby.  There is tons and tons of great info to be had by reading almost every post in this Shooter's form forum.  If you scroll down on the main page there's also an archive of videos and topics under Shooting where you can pick up some more info.

Feel free to fire away with questions...there are quite a few coaches here who will expertly guide you on your way to better shooting.
