No hunt, but good Thanksgiving
« on: November 23, 2007, 12:20:00 AM »
I didn't get to hunt today, but I had a great time with the family.  We went to my wife's parents place and I got out the turkey fryer.

We had beautiful weather in the Pacific Northwest today.  Here is a shot of the West field.

I got my fryer setup and started cooking.

Here is a picture of the South field as the sun was setting.

Once the bird was done we were all so excited that I forgot to take a picture.  Once I thought about it, the carcass wasn't looking too photogenic.

I hope all was well with you.  Here's to a great life....Cheers!

Yes, we had a great day here at my house as well.
Thank you.

We got a few inches of snow out of the deal as well, so the landscape looks more like winter than fall now. Weather channels says 9 degrees.
When fall decides to leave...its gone!

Indeed, Here`s to a great life!

Good day Bill,
Was rather surprised when my good friend Bill Shepard from Tuscaloosa Alabama, who helped me get started in traditional archery had registered and posted!! LOL!! It's good to know there are other first class Bill Shepards around. :D

Looks like you had a perfect day! We did as well.

God Bless, David B.
