Me and my shooting buddies have been sneaking out every half-warm day during this bummer winter to pursue our passion for trad Archery shooting. It has helped us make it through the winter. I hope most of you have had some chances to pursue our passion as well.
A friend/relative recently posted an inspirational picture/poster that struck me hard as a real good guide for life in general - at almost the same instant, it dawned on me that it also connected with our passion for shooting/practicing traditional archery.
I copied the saying, with a couple of very slight changes in the first and second line, as I also envisioned a place/use for it on my often posted "Home Range". I also added a sort of basic drawing of a bow and arrow at the bottom. Then I looked for an appropriate board to transfer the "message" to. I found (in my Glory Hole Room) a cutting board made in the Shape of North Carolina - very fitting, and natural color, so that felt tip writing would show up well on it. After preparing my new sign for my Home Range, I finished it with Stock Finish, took a picture, then attached hanging wires to it. I then proceeded to hang it on the back-yard fence. I placed it back to my B Range, and facing my A Range. Right where anyone shooting with me could see and absorb it (myself included - LOL) as a part of our Life and Traditional Archery Passion and practice/fun.
Here are a couple of pics - whadda ya think, Guys and Gals?
(This may need transferring to Pow Wow, But my Home Range and practice sessions are often here - I have no objections either way.0
