Hello all.

Ive been shooting my new Recurve now for a few weeks and really liking it.

I got my arrows all set up, bare shafts and paper show im spined correctly.

I shoot this bow REALLY well, out to 25 yards I am consistently shooting three arrow groups where the fletching touches. Problem is, these teeny tiny groups are VERY consistently 4" or so right of the "point of aim" at around 20 yards.

I posted some videos of my form up here about a year or two ago, and got nothing but positive comments on it, I shoot a static anchor, and apparently its rock solid and consistent. I rarely hit my bow arm, and when I do, I know its going to happen before it happens (thrown shot, usually happens when I start to get tired and sloppy).

I shoot instinctively, at least I think so. I am cognizant of the arrow point, but am totally focused on the "spot" when I hit anchor.

Im a right handed shooter, shooting split finger with my index finger anchoring in the corner of my mouth.

Any help would be much appreciative.

If you're that consistent, it has to be the equipment.  These are the ways to move a shot to the left:

Use a stiffer strike plate.  That is, change from a rug plate to a Velcro plate to a leather plate, as needed.

Add layers to the strike plate, to make it thicker.

Change the spine of your arrow.  The conventional wisdom would be to go to a stiffer spine, but if that doesn't work, try a weaker spine.

Try changing the brace height of your bow, 1/8" at a time.

When you say strike plate, youre talking the piece against the riser, not the piece glued to the shelf?

Yes, that's what he means, the side plate, not the one under the arrow.
