clicker mounting question
« on: December 18, 2014, 09:52:00 PM »
I did a search and did not find the answer to my question. I clean the limb and base of clicker with denatured alcohol, use loc tight double sided tape and press firmly onto the limb. Eventually the clicker will come loose from the limb. What are others using to secure the clicker to keep this from happening?

I've used the 3M brand red backed double sided tape with all of mine and have never had any issue with them coming loose or off, in fact it is quite a chore to get them off.
They'll be no quitters till we bag us some critters!

+1 on the 3M double sided tape, they also make a double sided picture tabbed tape, using that & it's held so far from this past season of being out in the woods!

Thanks I will try the 3M. I have had to remove them before and the best way to do that is to use a single strand of bowstring between the limb and tape and seasaw it back and forth in a downward motion.
