Top finger dragging on string
« on: April 23, 2015, 09:24:00 AM »
I have had something weird happen to my shooting lately.  On SOME shots I can feel what feels like my top finger dragging on the string which always results in the arrow hitting high and to the right.

I am wondering if I am doing something different, or is it just my glove getting grooves in it and its catching.

I shoot the black widow stick tite super glove that has the nylon on the finger tips.  Any help is appreciated.

OK, I'll guess first: could be your finger pressure &/or placement.
One thing to you could try is setting your top finger a tad higher on the string, and not quite as deep.

Joe,
Thanks for the reply, I found out what it was. My pointer finger part of my glove was catching. It HAD a nylon piece that was supposed to aid in a smoother release. But it actually did the opposite. Cut all of them off and solved the problem
