Edge of Shelf Wear????

Hey Guys, hoping that someone can help me out here.

I got a TallTines Stick flinger a couple of months ago, but have started to get some wear on the outside of the shelf, which I have never experienced before.

It paper tuned well right when I got it, but haven't had a chance to do so since I have started to experience this. The arrows seem to be flying true however, and my nocking point hasn't changed..

specs:

55#@27"  I draw 27"
arrow: 28-1/2" FMJ 200gr head w/ 75gr insert.
shoot split finger.


Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

If you're shooting tuneable nocks(from the picture,you probably are)just rotate the fletching a tiny bit to clear the shelf.Shooting 3 fletch or 4?? That might be doing it.

have tried that a few different ways with the same result.

Also could try a small thin strip of leather under the shelf to elevate the arrow just a "hair"
I use a small piece of tubing split in half lengthwise to make my hump.

A low nocking point will cause that type of shelf wear, recheck your nock elevation
