Bareshaft tuning

Hi everyone.I just finished bareshaft tuning my challenger carbon arrows 500 and finally got it flying straight at 30 meters. Consistent angle slightly nock low but acceptable.

However, one arrow from the batch consistently hits right or very nock right (weak) for RH bow. Is it possible to get a bad arrow in a batch? came as a dozen. Just don't get it why one behaves so differently. Don't want to cut it to stiffen because i will end up with one arrow shorter. I'm OC that way,haha

Yes it is possible to get an arrow to spine differently in the same batch.  I've read where some folks will twist the nock to find a stiffer side--similar to what you'd find on wood arrows.

It's always possible too that the shaft is mismarked.

Nock right on a bareshaft for a RH shooter would be too stiff

Correct that nock low, maybe bump nock point up slightly. A little nock high is okay, but nock low is not a good thing. Since you have that one "different" arrow identified, weed it out of the dozen. You can always use it for something else... stumping?

Thank you, I've already taken it out of the batch.I have a small barrel full of broken aluminum, wood and carbon shafts. Stumping arrows sounds like a good way to re use them. Thank you
