I SHOOT WOOD NOW BUT AM LOOKING FOR AN ARROW THAT IS GOING TO FLY A LITTLEW MORE ACCURATELY. I'VE WANTED TO TRY CARBONS BUT DON'T CARE FOR THE THIN DIAMETER. IS THERE A CARBON OUT THERE THAT RESEMBLES A WOOD ARROW? I'M LOOKING TO COMPARE TO AN 11/32. WHAT ABOUT AN ALLUMINUM? ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED. I SHOOT 55@27 LONGBOW. I WANT TO KEEP AROUND A 600 GRAIN ARROW.

Not all carbons are skinny...I shoot Arrow Dynamics, and they aren't.

Leatherneck, how small is too small? I use Gold Tips. They fit between wood and the really small carbons.
Think 5/16 is the o.d. Never had an issue with nocks.
I shoot full length at @45# with 515 grain arra weight. 125 head,100 gr brass and 3x5" fletch.
Semper Fi Brother and Good Luck to you.

No nock problems if you just get the nock adapters and regular nocks. Although I have heard that they have addressed the stock nock problems...I just haven't used them. I've been using them without the stock nocks for years and don't have any problems, nor have I heard of anyone else having problems with the adapters and non-stock nocks....least those bought from the sponsors here.
All the sponsors here sell them that way.

Do you buy them direct or from other sponsors. Terrys last sentence makes me think I have to get them from a retailer.

Leatherneck.
Semper Fi brother....
As mentioned above, get the nock adapter with the Bohning nock and there is no problem.

So, let me get this Square in my PeaBrain. You
CAN
Buy the Regular Nock Adaptors for Regular Glue on Nirk, and Bohning Nocks. Will They Just need my Arrow Size like 2018, or are they One-Size-Fits-Most? I have a Few Legacy Arrows I need to Fit Up with Regular Nocks. Raptor Sells them??
COOL!
Thanks for the Info!!

I, like Terry, shoot the AD's, but I use the factory nocks that came on them and don't notice any issues. What are the issues with these nocks supposed to be?
