Rivers Edge Take Down?
« on: November 25, 2007, 06:28:00 PM »
How does the three piece RER compare to the Arroys and their other bows from those who have shot several models of RER bows?

Thanks for any input +/-.  Feel free to PM me also.

The Arroyo is faster and quieter than their original takedown; don't know about their new LX takedown recurve however.

The 3 peice is a great shooter ecsp. one made on the newer form. The LX is a T/D longbow. The # piece is a great shootter, just does nothave the forward riser so it is a tad less forgiving. Shawn

Both bows are very smooth on the draw. Both are quiet and have good speed. The Arroyo is a tad faster then the 3 pcs. And for me shoots better. No Idea why just does. Which ever one you choose you will be happy I am sure.<><

I have both the Arroyo and a T/D the same draw weights and both are 58". Both bows are quite and smooth the Arroyo is a little bit faster. Like sticshooter I also shoot the Arroyo better. Either one is a great shooting bow IMO.

Ya shoot the Arroyo better due to the forward handle it makes for a more forgiving bow. I shoot my arroyo better for that reason and I am sure my new Widow TF will shoot just as good for me, they are the same design but the widow does not have the static tips. Shawn
