Turkey Balls
« on: October 31, 2008, 11:51:00 AM »
I cut the turkey breasts into golf ball sized pieces ( usually get about 20-30) put into a plastic tupperware and pour Herb/Garlic marinade over them.  The marinade is usually used to inject into the bird when deep fat cooking.  You can get it a Walmart, but Pro Bass has a really good one.  Leave in Ref. over night.  Get 6-8 jalapinos ( fresh ) and slice cross wise into about 1/4" thickness.  Place jalapino on a piece of meat then wrap 1/2 slice of bacon around the whole thing and stick a tooth pick through it all to hold it together.  Cool on grill turning it until done ( about 8-10 min.) or wrap several in foil and bake for about 45 min.
You never ate turkey like this before.  Great ordorves before a main meal.
