Here's a nice easy one for those that feel like trying a different type of camp bread.
This goes good with just about anything but best with a good Game stew or venison chili
and then Butter and Apricot jam for Something sweet afterwards.

you need
* 2 cups Water lukewarm
* 2 teaspoon Sugar
* 2 teaspoon Yeast (one little sachet)
* 5 cups Flour
* 2 teaspoon Salt
* 2 tablespoon Oil
1. Stir sugar in the lukewarm water and add the yeast.
2. Sieve the flour and salt into a mixing bowl.
3. Add oil to the yeast liquid.
4. Mix dry ingredients with yeast liquid using a wooden spoon.
5. Work to a firm dough, adding extra flour if needed, until sides of bowl are clean.
6. Turn dough on to a lightly floured table and knead thouroughly until it is firm, elastic and no longer sticky (about 10 minutes).
7. Shape dough into a ball and place into mixing bowl and cover with cloth.
8. Allow dough to double in size and dough springs back when pressed with a floured finger (60 minutes in a warm place, 2 hours at room temperature).
9. Turn risen dough onto a lightly floured surface, flatten to knock out air bubbles and knead to make firm. Flatten to about a little less than inch and pat out into pieces about 3x3"
10. Cook in hot Veg oil until brown, turning occasionally (drop in a small piece it will float if the oil is hot enough. you dont want it too hot. I use a dutch oven
11. Slice open and smear with butter and enjoy with your favorite Deer or hog Stew or chilli
