Holy Carp (not the fish either LOL), I got this recipe from our baker at work, and after making them up this morning for an afternoon Archery Shoot-A-Q, I just had to share it with all of you.
Dry ingredients combined in a large bowl and mixed together:
6 Cups rice crispies
6 Cups corn flakes
3 Cups chocolate chips
Combine the next ingredients in a saucepan mix and bring to boil:
2 Cups corn syrup
2 Cups packed brown sugar
Once mixture comes to a boil, remove from heat and put 2 cups of peanut butter in molten goodness. Let sit till the peanut butter melts. Stiring will help the peanut butter melt. Add 1 Tsp vanilla extract and mix in good.
Pour molten goodness into bowl with dry ingredients and using a stiff spatula or wooden spoon, mix together thoroughly and let sit for 10 minutes.
While heaven is sitting in the bowl "developing",
get out a cookie sheet and line with parchment paper. After the 10 minute wait time, dump into center of cookie sheet, and once again, use a stiff spatula or wooden spoon to spread over the parchment papered cookie sheet, and let harden. Then enjoy.
THAT's IT.
