Poor man lunch

This is a little something i grew up with and continue to make. Its a little slap together meal that fills you up good after a long day of hubting or working without breaking the bank. It works well as a hubting camp meal as well and only requires one pan.
1# of burger(beef, venison, pork, rabbit(my favorite) or any other meat you can shove through a grinder)

6 peeled ad sliced potatoes

1 onion sliced

Can of sweet corn

Couple spoons of lard or bacon grease

Salt/pepper to taste

First fry the burger up and chop it fine
Remove burger from pan leaving the grease and add some lard or bacon grease
Throw in potatoes and onions and fry for a bit till they start to brown.
Stir burger back in and add 1/2-3/4 cup of water and cover to let the potatoes steam.
Once potatoes are soft the majority of the water should have cooked off.
Drain corn and stir it into the mix
Cook another 5 minutes and add salt/pepper or any other seasonings(garlic powder is a good one) to taste.
Goes good with some plain old sliced white bread.
This is a great meal to stretch out a pound of burger to feed 3-4 people.
